As a realtor, I have the privilege to specialize in working with older adults and their families throughout the entire process of selling and/or buying a home. Selling a family home and making a move is difficult at any age, but I’ve found that life can throw us a few more curve balls with time, so having a coach (and a great support team) by your side can be a huge help from the beginning planning stages until the last box is unpacked. The goal is to lower stress and increase SUCCESS.
In working with my clients (and my own parents), I noticed that there are so many questions, concerns, fears, and uncertainties that arise when considering a move, that I began offering workshops and presentations awhile ago at senior centers, libraries, and senior communities. The goal was to provide tools and resources to aid in getting started with the decision making process to determine if a move is right, and offer insight on the real estate market and steps of the process. There are a lot more moving parts today of a sale or purchase of a home than 10, 20, 30, or 40 years ago. It’s a bit of a whirlwind process, and can be confusing. My wish is to help folks step through fear and gain more confidence when making the tough decisions.
As a realtor and a coach, I love answering questions (and finding the answers if I don’t know). I am a connector of people and resources and a problem solver at heart.
The purpose of this blog is to continue the conversation and information sharing about a multitude of topics that are helpful to older adults and their families as they navigate the moving process.
Here is a link to a short video that shares some of my clients’ thoughts about working with me as their family’s realtor and coach.
